After putting Muhammad Mokaev to sleep in a submission-only grappling match and becoming the new Hype Fighting champion, Arman Tsarukyan is now ready to start training for his next UFC fight.
Tsarukyan last fought Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar in November 2025, winning by Round 2 submission. After that, he wanted a lightweight title shot or a BMF title fight, but was denied both due to his antics outside the octagon.
The No. 2-ranked lightweight contender had earlier revealed that he will fight for the lightweight title later this year, and the UFC brass has promised him the same. Most recently, on the JAXXON PODCAST, “Ahalkalakets” hinted that he’s going to enter training camp soon and also told Red Corner MMA that Hunter Campbell has already given him a date for his next fight.

The Armenian will also have his close friend, UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev, in this camp, and the two will train together for their respective bouts, which are expected to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, later this month, in the main event of RAF 07, Tsarukyan will return to the mats to run it back with Georgio Poullas.
UFC middleweight wants Arman Tsarukyan to get a title shot
Bo Nickal believes Arman Tsarukyan should fight the winner of the UFC Freedom 250 headliner, which is a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.
On Pound 4 Pound, vouching for Tsarukyan, Nickal said:
Arman’s interesting. This dude is always doing side quests. RAF matches, grappling matches, he’s doing everything. I think he’s in a unique scenario where he comes from a lot of money, so he’s not fighting to try to make money. He already has it. He’s doing it more out of love, but he definitely deserves that title shot.” I’d like to see him fight the winner of Ilia and Gaethje.”
