Quillan Salkilld made quick work of Jamie Mullarkey in the UFC 325 main card opener on Saturday.
Salkilld landed an early takedown, but Mullarkey did an excellent job of working his way back up and even scoring a takedown of his own. Though it didn’t take long for Salkilld to reverse the position, forcing Mullarkey to scramble.
Mullarkey got back to his feet and pressed Salkilld against the fence, but moments later, Salkilld would score a takedown that Mullarkey wouldn’t get up from.

Cinching his arm under Mullarkey’s chin, Salkilld forced his fellow Aussie to tap out in the first round, securing his fourth straight win inside the Octagon.
Official Result: Quillan Salkilld def. Jamie Mullarkey via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:02 of Round 1.
