Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira is ready to stand and bang with BMF kingpin Max Holloway if “Blessed” points down in the last ten seconds of the fifth round at UFC 326.
Holloway is getting ready to defend his BMF title for the second time and will meet Oliveira in a rematch at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 7.
“Do Bronxs” has unfinished business, as he was injured in his first fight against Holloway and suffered a first-round TKO loss. However, this time, he plans to get things right and get the win back.
Ahead of UFC 326 rematch, the Brazilian submission artist was seen getting ready for Holloway’s call to action.
On the other hand, the Hawaiian has said the most BMF thing he could do is submit the submission artist. His coaches will never second this game plan, but “Blessed” is still eager to try.
That being said, both fighters want to challenge each other in what they do best.
Charles Oliveira is mentally prepared to stand-and-bang with Max Holloway
Charles Oliviera, in a recent interview with Olhar da Luta, said that although he doesn’t expect the Max Holloway rematch to go for all five rounds, if it does, he will be ready to meet “Blessed” in the center and trade recklessly in the final ten seconds:
People need to understand that we have to be ready everywhere. I believe this fight doesn’t go to the fifth round. I don’t think it goes the distance. But if it does, I know he is going to call me out because he has called everyone out before. It’s not disrespect, that’s just his game. He is going to do it. So what am I going to do? I have to be ready for it… When it’s time, it’s time. let’s go. We have to be ready for that. Imagine if it happens he calls me out, and I’m like, ‘Oh no man no.’ I have to be ready for that.”

On the other hand, Max Holloway says he might try to play mind games with Charles Oliveira by pretending it’s only a three-round fight and then pointing down at the end of the third round:
