Conor McGregor’s business partner, David Feldman, is confident that the Irishman is doing all it takes to make a return to the octagon.
‘The Notorious’ has been laser-focused on being a part of the UFC White House event, and Dana White has already revealed that the former is in contention for a spot on the June 14 card. Fans are aware of McGregor returning to the testing pool, sparring daily, and vowing to live in the gym.
Michael Chandler, Paddy Pimblett, and Mauricio Ruffy, among others, are in the list of potential opponents the former UFC double champion could face when he returns.

Now, David Feldman has given his two cents on the McGregor situation and has good news. The BKFC president revealed on The Ariel Helwani Show that the Dubliner has dropped all bad habits, is hitting the gym daily, going to church, eating right, and this is not the McGregor who Feldman has seen in the past few years. Feldman also added that ‘The Notorious’ is more focused right now and is 10 times better than he was in his prime.
The best. Times 10 Conor McGregor you have ever seen right now. Better than he was when he was in his prime. The most focused. Just wants to do everything right. He is training his a*s off each and every day. He’s eating right. He’s going to church. He’s doing everything he’s supposed to do. This is not a Conor McGregor that we’ve seen in the past couple of years. This is the best Conor McGregor that I have personally seen.”
Feldman added why McGregor fighting at the White House makes sense:
I am sure that the UFC wants Conor McGregor to fight. They want him to fight. They will make it work. And it makes sense for him to fight at the White House. He visited the White House, he is friends with [President Donald] Trump, he is friends with Trump’s wife… So my confidence level is probably at around a 99% [that Conor McGregor will fight at the White House].”

When Conor McGregor showed interest in fighting for BKFC
In 2025, Conor McGregor showed interest in fighting for BKFC, which he partially owns. The Irishman, in a presser, assured fans he has his crosshairs on the BKFC belt and aims to capture it down the line. He had said:
For sure, Conor McGregor will fight in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Mark my words. I’d like a world title in this company. I would wish to be the bare-knuckle world title world champion. That is a significant belt to hold in your career. Nobody from boxing to mixed martial arts can speak badly about a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship world champion. So, for sure, I would be coming in looking for the world title.”
