Mauricio Ruffy earned the biggest win of his career at UFC 325, scoring a vicious second-round TKO over Rafael Fiziev.
Fiziev quickly took the center of the Octagon and started punishing Ruffy’s lead leg with a bevy of brutal calf kicks. Ruffy nearly connected with a sneaky head kick against the fence, but aside from that, much of his success was limited to the final minute of the first round.

While Fiziev continued to control the cage, Ruffy started to find his flow state, landing some solid counters. With less than a minute to go in the second, Ruffy connected with a booming right hand that sent Fiziev scrambling for cover.
Smelling blood in the water, Ruffy rushed in and unleashed an onslaught of strikes, eventually catching Fiziev against the fence and forcing the referee to step in.

Official Result: Mauricio Ruffy def. Rafael Fiziev via TKO (strikes) at 4:30 of Round 2.
