Team Fighting Nerds’ Jean Silva is seeking a favor from UFC CEO Dana White after returning to winning ways at UFC 324.
Earlier tonight, Silva and Arnold Allen kicked off the UFC 324 main card by engaging in a slugfest from the opening bell. Despite a layoff, ‘Almighty’ fought the more technical bout on his return and did a great job in the first two rounds, not falling into Silva’s trap to brawl in the center right away.
However, the Brazilian seemed EXTRA confident as always and, with constant forward pressure, tried to steal the moment from Allen. The 29-year-old also landed the bigger shots in every frame.
After 15 minutes, ‘Lord ‘cruised to a unanimous decision win.
Silva now has his crosshairs on the UFC featherweight championship and does not care who the champion is. He stated the same during the octagon interview.
Jean Silva wants to be in attendance for UFC 325
Jean Silva wants to be in attendance for UFC 325 on January 31, 2026, at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, where current and two-time 145-pound champion Alexander Volkanovski will make his first title defense in his second reign. ‘The Great’ will meet Diego Lopes in a rematch.
Last year, Lopes lost to Volkanovski at UFC 314 and failed to capture the vacant featherweight championship. To get another shot at the title, the 31-year-old knocked out Jean Silva at Noche UFC in September 2025 and impressed the UFC brass.
The aforementioned Silva vs. Lopes bout was in the former’s favor until the second round, when ‘Lord’ chose to go all-out. This impulsive decision left him exposed. Lopes caught Silva with a spinning elbow, dropping him, and sealed the finish with a barrage of strikes from the back position while ‘Lord’ attempted to cover up.
Lopes took away Silva’s undefeated record in the UFC. Now, ‘Lord’ is ready to run it back and is determined to reclaim the win.
After tonight’s victory over Arnold Allen, Jean Silva was asked if he would want to be present cageside to witness UFC 325. Silva replied, stating that if he travels all the way to Australia, he will go with one goal in mind: To study the UFC featherweight champion and the challenger. ‘Lord’ also has a request for Dana White. He said:
“If I go, I’m going to study. I am going to see what they are doing. I hope Dana [White] takes me in his jet, and let’s go.”
