The UFC 327 lineup has been dealt a major blow with roughly a month to go until fight night.
The fourth numbered UFC event of 2026 is scheduled to take place on April 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The card has been widely regarded as one of the most anticipated events of the year, featuring some of the UFC roster’s top-tier fighters.
However, during a recent appearance on the OverDogs Podcast, Beneil Dariush disclosed that his planned lightweight clash with Manuel Torres at UFC 327 has been scrapped after “El Loco” sustained an injury in training camp.
The 36-year-old veteran further revealed that the matchup had already been moved multiple times. It was originally planned for February, then shifted to UFC 326, and eventually rescheduled for the April 11 event. However, Torres has ultimately been deemed unable to compete. Dariush added that he remains on the Miami card, with the UFC now actively searching for a replacement opponent.
Dariush heads into UFC 327 following a brutal 16-second knockout loss to Benoît Saint Denis at UFC 322 in November. The Iranian-born American, who once put together a dominat eight-fight winning streak, is currently enduring one of the most difficult stretches of his career. He has gone 1–3 in his last four UFC appearances, with all three defeats coming by first-round knockout.
Dariush’s most recent victory came at UFC 317 in June 2025, where he secured a composed unanimous decision win over former lightweight title challenger Renato Moicano. He currently holds a 17–7–1 record inside the UFC and an overall professional record of 23–7–1.
