Paddy Pimblett Issues Chilling Message For Justin Gaethje Ahead Of UFC 324
In the UFC 324 Countdown video, Paddy Pimblett spoke candidly about his upcoming interim title clash with Justin Gaethje. While widely known for his grappling prowess, “The Baddy” stressed that his true edge is a ruthless finishing mentality, insisting he plans to stop the former BMF titleholder with a knockout.
Pimblett even drew parallels to his brutal finish of Michael Chandler, suggesting a similar outcome awaits Gaethje inside the Octagon.
The thing that makes me most dangerous, I think, is my killer instinct,” Pimblett said. “I’ll put a beating on you until the ref pulls me off you or you’re unconscious. When I see I’ve got someone hurt, I’m in for the killing. Nine times out of ten, they’re getting finished. If I get on top of him, I could submit him, but I can also see me TKO’ing him with ground and pound, the ref having to pull me off just like with Michael Chandler, because his face is a bloody mess. I love elbowing people in the face. I love cutting people’s face open and having them look like the Elephant Man after the fight. After the fight, we shake hands, but while we’re in the cage, I’m trying to inflict as much damage on your face as I possibly can.”
Paddy Pimblett remains unbeaten in the UFC at 7-0, a run highlighted by victories over seasoned veterans such as King Green, Tony Ferguson, and Jared Gordon. Overall, the 31-year-old Scouser owns a 23-3 professional record, featuring seven knockout wins and 10 submission finishes.
