Paddy Pimblett has taken a swipe at Dan Hooker after the latter failed to return to winning ways earlier today at UFC 325.
Hooker, who was submitted by Arman Tsarukyan at UFC Qatar last year, was aiming to return to the win column against Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 325. ‘The Hangman’ did find some success in Round 1 of the 155-pound contest. However, in Round 2, after Hooker made a costly mistake and lost control, it was all ‘God of War’ from there, who hunted submissions for the major part of the second stanza.
‘The Hangman,’ however, showed heart and refused to tap, but in the last minute of the same round, BSD from top position started dismantling Hooker with ground and pound, and the Kiwi had no reply. That led ref Herb Dean to stop the bout at the 4:45 mark of Round 2.
Pimblett enjoyed as ‘The Hangman’ got TKO’d at UFC 325. Similarly, the 35-year-old had also enjoyed Gaethje dog walking Pimblett at UFC 324.
Reacting to the Kiwi’s loss, ‘The Baddy’ quipped in a recent YouTube video on his channel:
Nice to see Dan get TKO’d after the stuff he was chatting. He probably enjoyed me losing last week; that was probably a generational hate-watch for him. I never got finished, though.”

The bad blood between Dan Hooker and Paddy Pimblett has been brewing recently, after both fighters traded below-the-belt remarks. Pimblett started the war while mocking Hooker’s grappling skills, and ‘The Hangman’ did not hold back either.
Paddy Pimblett lauded Benoit Saint-Denis
In the same YouTube video, ‘The Baddy’ lauded Benoit Saint-Denis, who, with his UFC 325 victory over Dan Hooker, extended his unbeaten streak to four. Notably, all those wins have come via stoppage.
Saint-Denis wants to fight for the BMF or undisputed title next, but also has his crosshairs on Arman Tsarukyan, whom Pimblett despises.
Pimblett lauded ‘God of War’ and the latter’s fight style, after he dismantled Hooker:
I really like Benoit Saint Denis. I think he’s a proper nice fella. I like this fighting style. He comes to bang. I proper like Saint Denis.”
‘The Baddy’ is, however, confident that if he and Saint-Denis ever lock horns, it won’t take much time for the Liverpudlian to finish the 30-year-old. He added:
I hope he does well, but obviously, if he’s next for me, he’s getting finished.”
