UFC CEO Dana White went live on Instagram on Friday to provide fans with more breaking updates on UFC 327.
UFC 327, live from Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on April 11, will be headlined by a vacant light heavyweight title bout between former champion Jiri Prochazka and No. 3-ranked contender Carlos Ulberg.
Alex Pereira, the current 205-pound titleholder, has decided to vacate and move up to 265 pounds to chase three-division glory. With the throne soon going to be vacant, a new champion will be crowned at UFC 327 to replace “Poatan.”
In the co-main event of UFC 327, newly minted flyweight champion Joshua Van will make his first defense of the strap against Tatsuro Taira.
In addition to the two title fights, White announced several intriguing matchups for the UFC 327 card.
The main card will feature a lightweight clash between Beneil Dariush and Manuel Torres.
Dariush wanted to move up to welterweight after being knocked out cold by Benoit Saint-Denis in Round 1 at UFC 322. However, for now, he is going to stay at 155 pounds.
A heavyweight clash between Curtis Blaydes and Josh Hokit has also been added to the main card.
