  • Renato Moicano vs. Chris Duncan will serve as the UFC Vegas 115 headliner
  • UFC Vegas 116 headliner announced
  • The MMA Guru reacts to the newly announced Two Fight Night main events

This past weekend, during the UFC Houston live broadcast, the promotion announced two upcoming Fight Night main events, and Renato Moicano, whose name was included in those announcements, was stunned.

Both of these cards are booked for April and will be held at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

The first Fight Night is on April 4, UFC Vegas 115, which is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan. However, Moicano claims he has yet to sign the contract. During a live broadcast, he claimed:

UFC f**king announced the bald man’s fight without me having signed.”

Check out Renato Moicano’s comments below:

Apparemment, Renato Moicano n’a même pas signé le contrat pour affronter Chris Duncan 🤣

Renato Moicano vs. Chris Duncan will serve as the UFC Vegas 115 headliner

Renato Moicano is on a two-fight losing skid. He fought then-lightweight champion Islam Makhachev on a moment’s notice at UFC 311 in 2025 and was submitted in Round 1. Later that year, he lost to Beneil Dariush at UFC 317. Despite 2 back to back losses, the 36-year-old holds the No. 10 spot on the lightweight chart.

Moicano’s UFC Vegas 115 opponent, Chris Duncan, is currently unranked but is riding a four-fight win streak, with three of those victories coming by submission.”The Problem” boasts a pro-MMA record of 15-2 and a UFC record of 6-1.

UFC Vegas 116 headliner announced

The promotion also announced the headliner for UFC Vegas 116, which will be held on April 25. The main event features a clash between top-10 welterweights Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley.

Brady’s last fight came at UFC 322, where he was TKO’d by Michael Morales in Round 1. “New Mansa” also lost his most recent bout against Kamaru Usman. The setback also snapped his 6-fight UFC win streak.

The MMA Guru reacts to the newly announced Two Fight Night main events

The recent wave of matchmaking and the overall quality of UFC’s Fight Night cards in the Paramount Era so far have been criticized by many fans and analysts.

Earlier tonight, after the aforementioned headliners were announced, popular yet polarizing content creator The MMA Guru reacted to both of the announcements.

About UFC Vegas 114, he posted on X:

Moicano vs Duncan announced as the new main event in the Apex on April 4th’s fight night “I WILL TAKE SER DUNCAN’S SIDE!” 🗣️🗣️🗣️ W*f are with these main events though for real.”

About the UFC Vegas 115 headliner between Brady and Buckley, The MMA Guru feels a bit better. He added:
