Jason Jackson won Andri Koleschkov in two rounds of obedience at the PFL World Tournament headliner on Thursday night in Florida.
In the opening round, things were pretty competitive between Jackson and Koleshkov, but the Russians were meant to ensure an early takedown in the second stanza. Jackson defended brilliantly, eventually putting himself in the dominant position, bringing Koleschkov’s back near the fence.
Koreshkov returned using the cage, but Jackson landed some quick shots before bringing Russia back to the mat. While there, Jackson landed his elbow behind Koleskov’s head.
With blood flowing from behind Koreshkov’s head, referee Keith Peterson paused this action, allowing Koreshkov’s time to recover from the illegal one, albeit an unintended blow. After a 5 minute stop time, the fight restarts with the feet.
Jackson quickly lowers Koleschkov with his double legs and quickly enters the mount. Jackson drops the bomb and forces Koleskov to defend his back. Jackson is trapped in a naked chalk in the rear, and Koleschkov asks for a halt, falling asleep before Peterson can intervene.

With the victory, Jackson will face Sad Jean in the welterweight semi-finals this June.
