Justin Gesche does not give sh*t about Conor McGregor’s political aspirations.
Last month, the Irish megastar made the headline when he declared his candidacy for president in his hometown of Ireland. The announcement was filled with many responses, but many of them groans and moans from fighters and fans.
Gaethje, on the other hand, probably couldn’t care that much.
In a recent episode of his Funky and Champion podcast, Daniel Cormier called Gaeche in the middle of the episode, asking for “highlights” about McGregor’s chances of becoming president of Ireland.
“Daniel, this stupid sh*t… awful question… stop calling me for an American baby,” Gatche said.
When Cormier co-host Ben Askren began speaking, he couldn’t find out what Gaethje said next. Luckily, “DC” took us a little while to clue us.
“He said he didn’t know about Ireland, but he’s not the king,” Cormier reported.
It makes us two.
Conor McGregor and Justin Gettege are in two very different career paths in 2025
With McGregor’s attention to politics, his long-awaited return to the octagon seems unlikely to be a daily revival, but “Mystic Mac” admits he likes the idea that Bruce Buffer will announce him as president of Ireland with the possibility of a revival.
Unfortunately for McGregor, there is little chance he will actually become president.
As for Justin Gettee, a lightweight fan favorite defeated Rafael Fiziev through an unanimous decision at UFC 313, and the “highlight” was the “highlight” victory in many people’s eyes to challenge the lightweight title holder Islam Makhachev.
It assumes that Khabib Nurmagomedov has managed to give former featherweight champion Ilia Topria the next shot.
