Former UFC double champion Daniel Cormier has joined the list of people who believe Dana White will have to hire extra security during UFC 328 fight week.
UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev is going to make the first defense of his 185-pound strap in the main event of UFC 328 against Sean Strickland.
The tensions are already skyrocketing, as former training partners Chimaev and Strickland now openly despise each other. The American fighter’s recent accusations about “Borz,” along with his controversial remarks about the Muslim community, have further intensified the bad blood between them.
A massive brawl could break out at any moment during UFC 328 fight week, and fans are already worried about how Paramount plans to go forward with the new pre-fight photoshoots and face-offs.
Even “DC” thinks it’s a bad idea to put “Borz” and “Tarzan” in the same room before their UFC 328 title bout. In a recent video, he said:
Absolutely [I think the UFC will need some extra security for the Chimaev vs. Strickland bout]. I don’t know if I trust those two enough to put them together before the fight. Because I think they might start fighting. They seem to hate each other and despise each other, and those things are what fights are built on.”

Cormier also revealed during the sit-down that Chimaev is pushing himself SUPER HARD in training and even paying partners who manage to submit him before the Strickland grudge match:
I have heard stories out of the Chimaev training camp that Chimaev is training so hard and putting it on elite-level guys like nothing you have ever seen before. I have heard Khamzat Chimaev wants people to go so hard with him and beat him and submit him, he is paying them. He does not care… Khamzat is putting a bounty on himself to make guys give him [a hard time].”

Michael Bisping also wants Dana White to get more security before UFC 328
On Thursday, Dana White announced the UFC 328 headliner and other main events. After the bouts were unveiled, during a sit-down inside the META Apex studio, White asked Michael Bisping:
How much security do you think we’re going to need for Chimaev vs. Strickland?”
And “The Count” replied:
Quite a lot, Dana. You need to hire some extra people.”
