Marwan Rahiki has sent a message to his most recent opponent, Harry Hardwick, following their UFC Vegas 114 slugfest.

This past weekend, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rahiki made his UFC debut against Hardwick, and, from Round 1 of their featherweight contest, both fighters didn’t hesitate to stand and bang.

Rahiki tried piecing up Hardwick’s lead leg from the opening bell and also walked him down and landed a flurry of strikes on multiple occasions.

However, Hardwick showcased a granite chin, and even though his Moroccan foe pushed him to the cage and pieced him up for the majority of the minutes, there were times when “Houdini” countered, and it was enough to keep the UFC newcomer on the back foot.

Both men put on a striking fest for two rounds, but “Freaky” was clearly the faster fighter on the feet, had more volume, was more accurate, and fresher.

After 2 Rounds of nonstop back-and-forth, before Round 3 could commence, Hardwick informed his corner that his jaw had broken, after which he decided not to continue. The 31-year-old said:

My jaw is fu**ked. My jaw is broken.”

Although “Freaky” didn’t get the finish he wanted, he still won the bout by Round 2 TKO and announced his arrival in the UFC with a bang.

Harry Hardwick, on the other hand, has lost both of his UFC bouts to date, but never fails to entertain.

Marwan Rahiki’s message to Harry Hardwick

After suffering a broken jaw, Harry Hardwick was quickly taken to the hospital. From the ambulance, the Brit shared a quick message with fans, asking them not to worry about his injury because it is part of the game:

Everybody, I am ok. My jaw is obviously fu**ed, but that’s alright. I like soup. I like smoothies, I like milkshakes, and energy drinks. So all these things I can still have. Life is good. I cannot complain about my position. I have an amazing, beautiful girlfriend, a good house, and a good family. No one needs to cry for me. I am ok.”

Hardwick’s above comments were shared in another post by popular media outlet MMA Fighting on Instagram. Marwan Rahiki commented on this post, wishing Hardwick a speedy recovery:

Fast recovery 🙏🏽”

Meanwhile, “Houdini” also left a comment on the same post, which reads:

Morphine had just kicked in before I started talking all that waffle.”
