Once more, Arman Tsarukyan has taken a lighthearted jab at current and two-time UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Earlier this year, Tsarukyan had teased a move down to 145 pounds to fight “The Great.” However, the Australian clearly stated that, as the champ, it is his duty to ensure only top contenders in his division get a title shot next, and no one should be fast-tracked to one, including No. 2 UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan.
“Ahalkalakets” believes that in a potential fight with Volkanovski, all he needs to do is land one axe kick to knock the 37-year-old out.
Now, in another interview with Aviator, while replying to a comment made by Nina-Marie Daniele, the Armenian quipped:
Yes, it makes sense. I’ll beat Volk, and then I’ll hire him as my chef. Because when I beat him, he’s going to retire, and he’ll have to do something. And I can pay him good money for being my chef.”

Arman Tsarukyan believes he’s smarter than Conor McGregor
During the same sitdown with Aviator, Arman Tsarukyan also replied to another fan comment, which reads as:
Meanwhile, Conor [McGregor] owns one [Yacht], and you are renting one.”
“Ahalkalakets” believes he can make better financial decisions than Conor McGregor and therefore has not bought a $3.5 million Lamborghini yacht like the Irishman.
Instead, the 29-year-old prefers renting one. While replying to the fan’s question, he said:
Because I am smarter. One of my friends told me that you’re happy only two times when you have a yacht. Once when you buy it, and second time when you sell it. That’s why I just rent it. Unless you have too much money like Conor.”
