Latest reports and the UFC Anti-Doping public test history show that former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has been tested 3 times already in 2026, making “The Notorious” the most tested fighter on the UFC roster this year.

McGregor is itching to return to the octagon, and he recently claimed that he’s accepted a “no-name” opponent for his next bout and also a date. He’s constantly urged Dana White, Hunter Campbell, and Co. to send him the contract.

The Irishman is hell-bent on being a part of the White House Card, and now that he’s in the pool and being monitored constantly, it’s clear that the UFC wants him to stay clean before any serious comeback talks begin.

Per the latest update that was published today, Conor McGregor is the most drug tested UFC Fighter of 2026.

Max Holloway wants to run it back with Conor McGregor

Max Holloway, who will defend his BMF title next month at UFC 326 in a rematch against Charles Oliveira, has big plans in 2026.
Holloway, who has held the UFC featherweight championship in the past and is the current BMF champion, wants to breeze past Oliveira and then fight for the 155-pound strap.

Holloway has repeatedly called out lightweight champ Ilia Topuria. In a recent interview with David Adesanya, he reaffirmed his desire to run it back with “El Matador” to avenge the only knockout loss of his career.

During the same sitdown, Holloway also stated that he’s aiming for two-division glory.

Max Holloway eyeing double champ status 👀🥊

"I want to get back to being the undisputed. I want to be a two-division champ. I have history with the champ at 155 right now, I have history with the interim champ at 155, and I have history with my current opponent."

Meanwhile, in another interview with Stake, “Blessed” showed interest in fighting “The Notorious” again. He said:

We have a certain Conor McGregor wanting to make his return to the cage. You know, I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t take that fight. It’s Conor McGregor, man, you have to take that fight. We obviously have our history, and I think it would be great at the White House. [h/t: MMA Junkie]

McGregor and Holloway first locked horns in 2013, where the former won by unanimous decision
As of 2026, Conor McGregor has not fought in nearly five years, so ring rust would definitely be a factor for the Irishman, and speed could also be a major issue if he faces Holloway.

That being said, “The Notorious” is still searching for the perfect comeback opponent, and “Blessed” could be an ideal choice. It’s a rematch fans would love to see, at the White House on June 14.
