The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has concluded its mini international road trip, with the UFC Vegas 105 set to go down tonight (Saturday, April 5, 2025) within the UFC apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The headlines of the event will be the featherweight battle between Josh Emmett vs. Lerown Murphy. In the joint main event, Pat Sabatini I’ll fight Yoanderson Britt At another 145 pound tilt.

Hot things:

It’s been 16 months since Josh Emmett last stepped into the octagon. Bryce Mitchell (See here) Returning to UFC 296 in December 2023. That victory snapped a skid of his two fights. And now, the 40-year-old heavy hand blower is hoping to secure his first back-to-back victory in four years. Despite his layoffs, Emmett ranks eighth in the talent-rich 145-pound weight class, while another highlight reel finish goes a long way in bringing him closer to the top five. But standing in his way is an undefeated candidate ready for the glow of his time.

Murphy quietly went 7-0-1 in the Octagon. I say quietly. Because during his five years of running in his promotion, “The Miracle” managed to secure two finishes. Winning is a victory, but fans remember Hial’s knockout and submission. Frankly, it usually brings you a bigger battle with the spotlight. Then again, Beral Muhammad He managed to reach the top of the game, and he only had one finish in five years. Still, the point is that Murphy needs to do something to raise some interest, and a victory over a heavy hitter with a name worthy of Emmett certainly helps with that goal. Still, that’s not to say Murphy can’t stand it. This should be fun as long as it lasts.

New Blood:

Uran Satibaldiev called the big show after Kennedy Nzechukw bowed due to injury. Currently, Satybaldiev has an undefeated (8-0) record on the line for his UFC debut. With six finishes in eight fights, Satybaldiev is the current 205-pound champion in the LFA, but he is now looking to a bigger award, and making a splash in his first fight for the world’s biggest MMA promotion is a step in the right direction. His opponent, Martin Buday, isn’t easy for him as he’s 5-1 in the Octagon and has won the former UFC heavyweight champion. Andrei Arlovsky.

Currently, I’ve been on a consecutive five wins. Daniel Furunza I went on to a big show via Candidate series. Of his nine victories, eight of them have been made via submission or knockout, and the judges have only seen once in his career. Now he’s off to make a splash soon Rhys McKeecurrently losing two games and taking on a straight win, risking being cut by another loss.

Trez Finney It’s another Candidate Series The alum had to win three times to get a contract. Undefeated 10-0, Punisher has an eight-finish finish, making him an absolute middleweight unit. He takes over Robert Valentinwho didn’t win in his own UFC debut last year Ryan Rauder Through a technical knockout (TKO) in the second round.

Lewis Grule It comes out of another fighter Candidate Series Mint record with 10-0 and 6 finishes. He’s facing off Ode Osborneafter losing the final three fights under the UFC banner, he desperately needs a victory.

What does “spare” look like:

We’ve already discussed some of the fights of unnurchard in the previous section, so let’s take a look at the rest of the “backup”. Kicking off the event is a straw weight fight between women Vanessa Demopoulos and Tarita Allenker. Demoporus is Jaqueline AmorimAllenker also lost on a recent outing, but has come close to the other side. Stephanie Luciano.

Male bantamweight action, Victor Henry Remembering his recent losses Charles Joden When he takes on Pedro Falcaoafter his five win streaks were snapped, he still has a bitter taste in his mouth Victor Hugo Exactly a year ago.

Who needs victory so badly:

Diana Belvita He has done a really rough UFC run and has been promoted to rounds 2-5 over five years. She lost the final two fights, and as she prepares to face Dion Barbosa You need to be hiding behind her head. Barbosa is 1-1 in her young UFC career so far, but she’s lost on the hands Miranda Maverick.

Interest level: 5.5/10

In the evening’s co-main event, Joan Derson Burrito and Pat Sabatini come across a highly focused featherweight event. Burrito was running high on five straight wins after throwing Dad in his UFC debut, but that straight win was snapped on his latest outing after he lost a razor thin split decision with his hands William Gomis Six months ago. Now Brito tries to start another winning streak, and his first challenge comes against the man so far 6-2 in the Octagon. Sabatini returned to his victory column after he submitted it last October Jonathan Pierce Through the rear choke in the first round.

Brad Tavares Having fought for the UFC for 15 years, he never reached the peak of the sport, but he did enough to continue his employment. That said, Tavares is currently owing their second straight win, losing four of their final five fights, so they’ve been really struggling these days. When he fights, he tries to snap his skid Gerald MunchartWho is hungry for victory after losing? Reinier de Ridder On his latest outing. I don’t know if Tavares will face a chopping block in another defeat, but that’s something he should try to avoid at all costs just to make it safe.

Cortical Romias He didn’t make the splash he liked in his UFC debut. Gaston Bolanos Last November. For him, he should avoid going 0-2 to start his UFC career. He will fight Jang Ho Lee. Long Shaodefeating him with a split decision last summer.

Enjoy the fight!
